These are all pictures from our yard (and our neighbor’s).
Pictures of some of our day lilies.
The following are Mom’s favorite and she loves that we’re the only people in the neighborhood with pink ones!
A bud on our Hibiscus.
The flowers on this plant remind us of the colors of sunsets.
The next ones are off a tree in the garden of our across the yard neighbor.
We’re hoping to plant this before it dies.
The next one was an experiment. I’m not sure how it turned out.
Jack, Mom’s puppy, turning away from me. Mom went into the house just as I was taking the photo.

Your experiment looks great! Also, love you’re Mom’s hydrangeas!! I don’t have pink… the ones in my hard are a deep purple. I love mine, but the pink seems so much more unique!

Thanks! You can change the color of the hydrangeas by changing the acidity of the soil. I don’t remember how you do it, but it was on a tag for a hydrangea plant at the store.
Your flowers are lovely! I like how the light is filtering through the leaves on your experiment shot. Very nice.

My favorite is the oranges in the double day lilies. Although, I do wish we would have had a red one for me to photograph.
LOve hydrangeas, we have the blue and purple ones, the pink are beautiful.

i love all the day lily shots! ours never do anything before the deer get to them
We have one big showy lily that the deer always eat, but they always seem to leave the regular ones alone. *shrug* Deer are weird.

And your mom’s dog looks like a Bichon Frise. Josh’s grandmother has one.
