On laundry
Dear fellow residents of my building,
I don’t know how you did it, but you broke off the door handle leading to the bottom part of the building. It is very difficult to balance a laundry basket full of clothes, detergent, and fabric softener and grab the end of the screw sticking out to open the door. I have said something to the apartment complex but this is the third week we’ve been suffering through this. Please don’t do it again.
When I go down at 8:30 am to start laundry and find nothing in the washer I am happy. When I come down at 9 am to move my laundry from the washer to the dryer and start a new load only to find there are clothes still in the dryer I am irritated. Since the dryer was not running when I came down earlier I know your clothes have been there for a while. I dislike removing your clothing from the dryer and setting it on the table however I am not about to let mold grow on my clothes because you are irresponsible. When I discover that your clothes are stone cold it leads me to believe that you put the laundry in last night and never picked it up. When, after doing three loads of laundry, your clothes are still sitting on the shelf in the laundry room it upsets me. It leads me to believe that you have gone to work (it is a weekday after all) and left your clothes to sit all day. You are not the only person in the building who needs to do laundry. This is the second week in a row that I have had to remove clothing from the dryer and not had it claimed before I was done. Please cease and desist this practice. Set a timer and get your clothes in a timely manner.
No love,
Krissy
