I have some fantastic news. Last Friday everyone had their probation talks except me and AR Becky. One was fired, and the other three had their probations extended. Well, on Monday Nancy talked to me. I am being transferred to a full time permanent employee! Yippee!! Today is my last day on probation. I don’t even work today! My numbers went way up and my errors went down. I had a third external error which wasn’t good, but they still hired me. That means my mistakes are not okay, but not bad either. I do feel kinda guilty – I got pushed forward and they did not. Mare’s aghast because I had three external errors. *shrug* Her speed is still in the thirties! She may not have a lot of errors, but she should be moving faster. *shrug* I can’t really say whether or not any of them will be fired. Although its not just speed that counts. Becky is at least ten faster an hour than I am, but she has over 140 errors. So quality does count. I’ve got my good speed but I only, in contrast, had 30 B errors. So its both. No one wants errors, but they are realistic and know they will happen. But I’m very happy and very relieved. Yay!
