Turbo Jam has arrived
Well, I had gotten several Walk Away the Pounds dvd’s a while ago and was using them. Today we got a whole new set of work out videos – Turbo Jam. Now I like the WATP dvd that I’ve been using – the 15 minute walk. Since I’m fairly out of shape, that’s been getting me moving a little bit. Leslie has at least 5, maybe 6 basic steps and for the back half of the 1 mile walk there’s arm movements which you’re supposed to do with a stretchy band, which I did not have. I like it.
Now I’ve got tons of Turbo Jam workouts to try. They do have a 15 minute work out and a 20 minute work out. I’m thinking about trying the 15 minute one in the morning. We got at least 7 dvds (all different), two stretchy bands, resistance something or other, tape measure, 10 day diet plan, getting started guide and weighted gloves. I don’t think I’ll be using those any time soon (except maybe one of the two stretchy bands which I’ll steal for my WATP dvd). I’m not going to try the diet plan – I don’t do very well with those. But I want to exercise. I want to lose between 60 and 80 lbs. I would like to lose a portion of it before August 15th (my sister’s wedding). Its going to be hard to get up and do them, but losing weight is never easy. I need to get up and moving. Maybe I’ll take walks around the neighborhood on nice days. Even after work ’cause I’ve got a bunch more energy. Hopefully, I’ll remember to blog again soon with my report on Turbo Jam.
